Taylor Toussaint of Mt Holly Motorsports (Vincentown, New Jersey) has spent his life immersed in motorsports. He threw a leg over his first dirt bike at 12 and was racing by 15. By 19, he had earned his pro racing license. But making a living in the industry wasn’t always the plan—at least, not at first.
When he graduated college in ’77, the job market was rough. He’d been working on bikes and flipping them to get through school, and it just made sense to keep going. That decision led him to a job as a tech at a local dealership in 1978, followed by years working for different shops. Then in 1983, he made a bold move: buying his first dealership. Over time, he built a business that’s grown into something bigger than just selling motorcycles.
Ask anyone at Mt Holly Motorsports, and they’ll tell you they’re in the business of more than just selling bikes. They’ve built something different—a gathering place for riders of all ages and backgrounds.
Mt Holly Motorsports sponsors local events like the Jadon Strong Foundation’s ‘All Gas, No Brakes’ Car & Bike Show and supports businesses like Suffolk Stables. They do bike nights, watch parties, and Free Food Saturdays. They’ve even done Stacyc kids’ races at Field of Dreams. They also host food drives and other initiatives to give back to the community that’s supported them for so long. For Taylor, these events are about creating a space where everyone feels welcome.
A big part of what makes Mt Holly Motorsports stand out is their approach to customer engagement. People don’t just come in to buy a bike—they come for the experience. From competitive pricing to loyalty rewards, they make sure customers feel valued. Their strong social media presence keeps riders in the loop on new gear, promotions, and upcoming events. And then there’s Free Food Saturdays—because who doesn’t love a good meal while checking out bikes?
New Jersey may not be the first place people think of for motorsports, but Mt Holly Motorsports knows where to find the good spots. Dirt bike riders should check out the Field of Dreams MX park, while adventure riders will love the trails at Wharton State Forest. Not sure where to go? The team is always ready to point customers in the right direction based on their bikes and skill level.
Plenty of places sell bikes. But Mt Holly Motorsports offers something else: a real connection to the sport and the people who love it. They’re a dealership, but they’re also a hub for riders and racers. They make sure people get more than just a machine. They give them a place to be part of something bigger.
With years under his belt, Taylor Toussaint has seen a lot of changes in the industry, but one thing remains the same—people love to ride. And as long as they do, Mt Holly Motorsports will be here, giving them a place to connect and keep the spirit of riding alive.
